| I am following in the footsteps of several here (and also I'm bored and it's rainy and I'm trying to convince myself not to make cookies) but imitation and flattery, right?
I already have a post up on my RL LJ but if you've missed that or I don't have you on my RL flist, I am sending out holiday cards shortly, and I want to send one to YOU. (Yes, you. There. You!) I can not promise that the cards will not come with copious amounts of glitter, but that's part of the fun. At least for me.
Anyhow, comments are screened and cards are a-writin'. | |

| To say Rose was pissed off was a bit of an understatement. It wasn't bad enough that her mom had kicked her ass and purposefully punched out of bounds to knock her out, but when she got back to the room and heard Dimitri's voicemail canceling the reason she'd been in the gym in the first place? Oh, yeah. That was the best. She might not have ended up with a concussion, but when she removed the ice pack to poke at her eye a little, it was pretty clear that it was going to turn into a horrible black eye. Hated. Everything. Which was why Rose was pissy and sulking in her room. There wasn't emo music but there was lots of pissed off heavy metal playing. [Sure open door/post if you want. I'll be up all night yay.] | |

| Rose was supposed to be at work but she'd snuck out for just long enough to run back up to the school and get something very important from her room.
And now she was in front of 324, hoping that a) the door was unlocked and b) Bobby wasn't around. She'd checked to make sure that Kate was at class. Kate didn't need to get mixed up in this, it was between her and Bobby. And Jaina. And apparently Jaina's boyfriend for suggesting it.
She opened the door, gleeing silently that it was unlocked, and slipped into the room, freezing when she realised Bobby was sleeping on the bed. He didn't move though and she finally started breathing again as she picked her way through the room to the bathroom.
Rose had practiced enough with the shower head that removing the old one and installing the new and improved one Jaina had made was a piece of cake, and soon she was sneaking back through the room and closing the door behind her.
She couldn't stop the leap of triumph as she ran down the hall to get back to the gym as quickly as possible.
[Room 324 and occupants modded with permission. Identity of evil shower head thief NFB if you please! Cause it's not like he won't know anyway.]

| Beyond the original freak out over the new, um, equipment between her legs and the fact that she'd grown almost a foot overnight, Rose was kinda enjoying being a guy. Okay, training today sucked because her center of balance was completely off, and she kept overreaching things cause she expected her arms to be a lot shorter, but at least as a guy, she was still hot and had awesome hair.
The hair was important, yes.
Now she was lounging on her bed and wondering how that extra height made the bed seem so much smaller. Sharing would be way more cuddly now, yeah. After training, she'd handwavily found a pair of jeans and t-shirt from the lobby that fit way better than the workout clothes she'd stolen from the gym (yeah, from the length of the pants, she was pretty sure they were Dimitri's and she was so keeping the t-shirt like the girly girl she was). It was wrong to admire your own butt in a pair of jeans when you were a guy, right?
Probably was, and Rose flipped on some music before starting trying to write an email to Lissa that broke her brain as much as possible.

| Too comfortable on her bed finally, Rose was just about ready to consider falling asleep when her phone rang. If it hadn't been Lissa's ringtone, she might not have answered it. ( Cut for Conversation )Rose took a breath, trying to make the worry go away. It was way too much to deal with still partially hungover and exhausted from training. She'd worry about it tomorrow. | Totally hot slutty outfits? Check.
Convincing the bouncers to let them in without completely legal ID? Check.
Lots of hot anonymous guy potential? Check.
It had only taken a few tries to find the proper club that both let them in and had lots of pretty people to dance with, but once the, ahem, sweet spot had been located, a night of craziness and drinking lay ahead.
And Rose pulled out her cell phone just to make sure it was still getting a signal. "We have to leave in time so I can get to the gym by six," she said, setting the alarm. "Or I do at least."
A night of craziness, drinking, and worrying about the time apparently.
[For the hot vampire hunters (not you, Mel, sorry) and hot Turk]

| When she climbed the stairs back to the fourth floor, Rose almost found herself hoping that Jack had been right that she'd misplaced her room. She hadn't, of course, and the piece of wall covering where the door was supposed to be was still there. With a hole in the middle where she'd put her foot through last night to make sure there really was a room behind it. Rose scowled at wall, trying to will it down with the power of her rage. When that didn't work, she kicked the wall again, just under the previous hole. Her foot went through with a satisfying crack, and she tried it again and again, kicking an opening straight down the center of where the door should be until the wall folded in half, the tape ripping away from the walls on either side and the drywall loudly collapsing into a pile of dust and chunks on the floor. Much, much better. She was almost smirking as she stepped over the pile to enter her room finally. The smirking lasted as she saw the door leaning against her closet. First? Getting a door back on her and Morgana's room. Second was figuring out the so-called pranksters and seeking revenge. [OOC: Open post definitely but I am heading to sleep shortly so I'll ping back in a few hours.] | |

| It felt like Rose's training session with Dimitri had gone on forever. There'd been a new route to run that covered like every single hill on the island at least three times. And it had rained. Not syrup true cause one time was enough for that, but enough that her shoes were soggy and heavy, and her hair trailing down out of her ponytail in wet snakes. All she wanted was a steaming hot shower and to fall back into bed for a few hours until she felt human again. Rose trailed into a shower, dumped her stuff off in the cubicle, turned on the shower head and - - yelped as green slime poured onto her. She jumped back too late to keep from getting completely drenched with slime and glared in horror at the shower. Now that she was out of it, it was innocently spraying hot water. Tentatively she stuck her hand back into the spray. The moment she felt the water drops, the shower started dumping out obnoxious green slime again. "Haaaaaaate everything," she growled, glaring at the shower and trying so, so hard to kill it with her mind. [Establishy because I am insanely tired and am going to sleeeeep. Torture thanks to the awesome iknowstuff 's radio broadcast.] | |

| After class, Rose had wandered out to the lawns, taking advantage of the sunlight to flop back on the grass and look at the trees.
She'd totally gone back to sleep after training, but she still wasn't completely awake. So now it was a matter of deciding if laying in the sunlight and letting herself think about things and worry about Lissa was better or worse than getting up to wander back down to town and getting ice cream.
The ice cream might have had more of a lure if she hadn't run on most of the streets in town before dawn while Dimitri read Westerns in the gym. She had a feeling the running would happen again tomorrow, and she wasn't sure she could deal with seeing those streets too many times in twenty-four hours.
[OOC: For one, but also totally open (no roof, see?).]

| Rose had slept most of the plane ride back to Fandom (and holy crap, did she hope that she hadn't drooled on Dimitri), but she was still pretty much exhausted when she finally got back into her dorm room. It was weird looking around the room that she'd been so torn about leaving and knowing she'd be there for the rest of school year.
It was weird too being here and knowing someone else from St Vlad's was on the island now. A someone who was not Lissa. She'd tried to argue that Lissa should come too if both her potential guardians were going to be here, but Liss needed to stay and do the royal politics thing instead of being off for another year in semi-exile.
Rose threw her bag into the corner, figuring she'd deal with that later, and flopped on the bed. This whole being tired thing might have been what Dr. Olendzki had meant when she'd argued to keep Rose in the clinic and on an IV for another few days before sending her back. Being BFFs with a kickass healer was one thing, but apparently that didn't mean her body was totally good with the whole blood loss and getting the crap kicked out of it a lot over the past few days. She was going to have to do something about that. No more getting the crap kicked out of her.
So she was going to get up and go find people to tell them she was back. In just a few more minutes because right now, she was really, really comfortable.
[OOC: Plot done and Rose back. Open door, open post.]
